Maybe you love small-town mysteries that actually feel like the place they're set. Maybe it's a certain kind of science fiction, or a particular flavor of romance that nobody seems to stick with.
Our job is to notice those gaps — the spots where the shelves are full of "close enough" but light on "this is exactly it" — and point you toward ongoing series that were built for that itch, not for the latest trend.
For authors
Some writers end up in very specific corners of the map. A river corridor. A single neighborhood. A particular kind of love story or far-off world.
Clemmer Creek exists to bring those writers in front of the readers who've been waiting on them, even if neither side knew the other was out there yet. We're small on purpose and we pay close attention.
Our first author
We're starting close to home, in the Hiwassee corridor of southeastern Tennessee, with C. J. Mercer and his Between the Ridges series — quiet, low-graphic mysteries where the rivers and ridgelines are as present as the people.
